Link between Eye Health and Global Warming?

After researching "news for global warming," a very interesting article came up, which I would like to share with you!India Institute of Medical Sciences will discover the impact of ultraviolet radiation and global warming. How? Starting in March, trained staff in Delhi(which is located in India) and go door to door randomly fill out a questionnaire to find out how much time people spend in the sun, whether they wear any eye protection, whether they have any eye problem and for how long have they been suffering from it. Also, they will be scanned for any eye diseases and that will be recorded. In this article, Tandon says: "ultraviolet B radiation is known to play a major role in diseases of the conjunctiva and cornea, dry eye, pterygium, allergic diseases, corneal degenerative changes, cataract and retinal complications."   1. wow, that's scary to think that the decaying of the ozone layer (which allows more sun to get in the earth) would hurt our eyes! I bet that probably effects our skin, too. Thanks for the update.
